Becoming Certified Practitioner of LEGO® Serious Play® training introduces you to the foundational and fundamental elements of the LSP method.

I am part of a worldwide network of experienced LEGO® Serious Play® trainers that are certifying people in The LSP Method.

Why become a Certified Practitioner of LEGO® Serious Play®

In today’s fast-paced and complex world, traditional meetings and training sessions often struggle to create genuine engagement or lasting results. The Certified Practitioner of LEGO® Serious Play® training introduces a hands-on, minds-on approach that transforms the way people think, communicate, and collaborate.

This course focuses on the core foundations of the LEGO® Serious Play® method – the process of questioning, building, sharing, and reflecting. It helps you understand how to apply these principles effectively.

You’ll learn how to use Skill, Individual, and Landscape models to spark meaningful dialogue and unlock creative problem-solving. By the end of the day, you’ll be ready to design and run your first LEGO® Serious Play® session with confidence, using a proven approach that turns abstract ideas into shared understanding and actionable insight.

The difference between ‘Practitioner’ and ‘Facilitator’ training

The LEGO® Serious Play® Certified Practitioner training provides you with the fundamentals of the LSP Method, giving you the core knowledge, key tools and confidence to design and facilitate your own LSP workshops.

In contrast the LEGO® Serious Play® Certified Facilitator provides you training in the full LSP Method. It covers everything from the Practitioner Course plus additional tools and topics.

Both courses are fantastic entries into the LSP Method. You can either take the one-day ‘Practitioner’ course, or go straight to the two-day ‘Facilitation’ course.

But what LSP sessions will I be ready to run?

As a Certified Practitioner of LEGO® Serious Play®, you’ll be equipped to design and deliver shorter sessions (typically 1–2 hours) that use individual model building and shared landscapes to spark creativity, reflection, and conversation. These sessions work beautifully with individuals or small groups and can be integrated into meetings, workshops, or coaching conversations to bring ideas to life and uncover fresh insights.

As a Certified Facilitator of LEGO® Serious Play®, you’ll be able to deliver a wider range of sessions – from shorter, focused activities to extended workshops involving multiple groups. You’ll learn how to design and lead more complex sessions that explore strategy, culture, and team dynamics through shared model building, storytelling, group insight and shared understanding.
